Miss Apollo

In December 2016, Apollo House, a disused office building in Dublin’s city centre was occupied by a group of activists. Demanding changes to the Irish government’s housing policies which had led to rising homeless numbers, they filled the building with rough sleepers from the streets as an act of protest. Cheryl Murphy was one of the house’s residents and Miss Apollo tells the story of her impossible dream to be a fashion model, even in the face of her homelessness.
